     Building and Maintaining Crum Electric’s North Salt lake branch has been a wonderful challenge.
     Operations are the prime responsibility of the branch manager position. My expertise lies in maintaining
     optimum vendor relationships (i.e. Siemens, Alan Bradley, REAL etc.), supervision of sales and warehouse
     staff, and providing training on featured products. Budgeting and managing marketing channels that
     support the business development is a prime focus in targeting specialized markets. Inventory management
     and control required a progressive and comprehensive approach that optimized sales and profits. Managing
     performance of all direct reports of inside and outside sales has a responsibility of supporting the account
     managers in achieving personal and company wide sales goals. The last two years has been a great

My background was able to provide market analysis, sales forecasting and fiscal management for a large
manufacturer of UPS devices and surge protectors. My sales team consisted of twelve representatives that
were responsible for account development business expansion. Strategic planning and positioning in fifty
states increased company revenue by five million annually for two years. EFI Electronics was eventually
purchased by Hubbell Technologies in 1998. The division I was responsible for was moved to Hubbell
corporate.

As a sole proprietor, we conducted energy audits, assessed energy needs and provided turn key solutions to
reduce energy waste in the commercial and industrial sector. Provided detailed equipment solutions and
calculated rate of return with return on investment reports for facility owners. The contracts obtained were
large installation projects and required excellent customer relations as well as strong project management
skills. My involvement was required from proposal to equipment procurement to implementation. Light-
tech energy management was specific to lighting control industry and was successful in establishing key
accounts along the Wasatch front.

 As the Co-Founder of a Utah based electrical distributor house that experienced continual growth
from $400,000.00 in 1975 to $18 million in 1989. I was the forerunner in making all business
decisions resulting in the strategic growth of company funds in regards to financial planning,
investments and vendor/manufacturer relations. Coordinated and implemented the 401 K plan
for employees. Established concept and implemented computerized matrix-selling system that
matched individual products with specific customers, thus enabling a higher gross profit using a
larger spectrum of products. As the Vice President I had responsibilities with vendor relations as
well as over seeing sales and marketing. I had altered company focus from general merchandise
dealership to specialization in factory automation and industrial products. during. I hired and
supervised a staff of outside sales people, technical outside sales people and inside sales
people. Wrote protocol and trained sales staff on product specific approach in EWS sales.
Established territories for managed accounts and assisted sales staff on outside sales calls. Our
outside sales force maintained and continued to be responsible for managing accounts
    considered sensitive in the realm of continued growth being made up by several commercial
    contractors, government agencies, and industrial accounts such as Morton Thiokol, Hercules, and
    Jetway.
