Battle of the Books
Also known as…B.O.B!
What is B.O.B?
Battle of the Books is a group of students
who like to read and want to compete in a
competition against other students
answering trivia questions over books.
There are 10 books on the B.O.B list.
You do not have to read all 10…but you
must read at least 3.
How does B.O.B work?
Check out the books from the library
Read them
Take the AR tests
(Yes, all 10 books are on the AR list!)
Read at least 3 books before February 1.

B.O.B. Meetings during Advisory
Teams will be formed in February
Teams will be 5 to 6 students
To be placed on a team, you must read 3
or more books AND take the AR tests by
the February 1 deadline
Then we start to practice, practice,
practice, practice!!!
When we will BATTLE?
Sometimein March…the date will be
announced later.
The team that wins the BATTLE will
compete against the other Mansfield
Intermediate Schools in May!
