Highly experienced web designer (11 years commercial experience) specialising in custom built,
client defined sites and advertising campaigns. Current role as sole designer at Media Ingenuity
involving site design, maintenance and CSS coding, banner advertising and managing
freelancers. A year in New Zealand also led to working for web development company Zenago,
again as their sole designer, managing the individual needs of the client while always considering
technical considerations, deadlines and budget. Previously, a successful move to freelance web
design in London led to work for high profile clients such as the BBC, AOL and national magazine
company Hearst Digital (Cosmopolitan magazine among many other publications).

2000 to 2005: Senior Designer at Teletext
Design and build of Teletext Holidays on free-to-air television
Development of xml driven holiday offer advertising across all services (web and television)
Leading designer on recent services such as Teletext Cars & Shopping (Sky / Freeview)
Re-brand across 10 interactive television services including ITV and C4 interactive
Promoted to lead other members of the team on interactive services: free-to-air, satellite and
cable television. This led to moving onto extensive involvement on the Teletext Holidays web site
specifically building dynamic microsites often with xml driven holiday deals as well as related
work on promotional graphics for these and other sites. As a senior designer there was a need to
manage the expectations of the Sales and Marketing departments regarding promotions,
branding and client requirements.
1997 to 2000: Designer at Teletext
Recruited to join as a Graphic Designer to take part in the design of interactive services on free-
to-air and satellite television from the ground up. Later work on cable television included
invaluable web based experience as it was all internet based.
