OPTIMIZED YIELD
The characteristics of the KOMPOFERM® dry fermentation is a steady moistening of the input material with process liquid during digestion of solid substrates (e.g. biowaste, garden waste). The intelligent closed loop management between the dry fermenters and storage of the percolate liquid establishes an efficient methane biology which keeps the digestion process running constantly. This guarantees an optimal continuous yield of high-quality biogas at a minimum of waste water generation. The robust design of the KOMPOFERM® plants requires little maintenance and meets in every respect high industrial standards of process engineering and safety technology.
Biogas systems of KOMPOFERM® represent high yield at low investment costs. In this respect the dry fermentation technology plays an outstanding role and surpasses common systems when it comes to operating safety, availability and cost efficiency. Dry fermentation is a biological stable process easily to be handled, which can be operated without costly preparation of the substrates (addition of liquid, mashing, comminution). This creates decisive advantages for the further processing of the digestate because a technical dewatering step can be omitted. all this effectively saves operational and investment costs. contrary to common wet processes technical problems which can arise – e.g. through sand and fibrous material – can be completely avoided. This also results in decisive cost advantages of the KOMPOFERM® system.

The availability of an industrial plant determines the extent of its profitability. Therefore it is fundamentally necessary to achieve high operational times by reducing maintenance and repair needs. biogas plants from KOMPOFERM® convince by lowest sensitivity for break-downs and minimal revision times. For this purpose a convincing material and process conception proves reliability and solidity. The use of 8 dry fermenters, a generously dimensioned percolate storage and a very big volume of biogas storage guarantees a continuous high biogas production. The necessary transport of input and output material can be easily managed by a wheel loader on account of the constructional design of the KOMPOFERM® tunnels.
