The Future of Funding: a strategic view from High Peak and Derbyshire Dales 2 October, 2003 from 1.30 to 4.30pm Methodist Hall, Buxton Who this event is for: Local voluntary and community groups Local organisations who support voluntary and community groups Other partners (local authorities, primary care trusts, regional voluntary sector bodies) will be welcome as observers Agenda Lunch will be available from 1pm 1.30 1.45 Introductions John Routledge from Active Community Unit and Phil Barton from Defra will talk about the Infrastructure Review which looks at how the Home Office may fund organisations that support local voluntary and community groups. He will also update the meeting on progress around FutureBuilders, funding for local voluntary groups who deliver public services such as health and social care, crime, education and learning and children and young people. They will also link these initiatives with work in rural areas.
