Lunch will be available from 1pm 1.30 1.45 Introductions John Routledge from Active Community Unit and Phil Barton from Defra will talk about the Infrastructure Review which looks at how the Home Office may fund organisations that support local voluntary and community groups. He will also update the meeting on progress around FutureBuilders, funding for local voluntary groups who deliver public services such as health and social care, crime, education and learning and children and young people. They will also link these initiatives with work in rural areas. Questions and answer Break Workshops looking at:1. what do local groups want from voluntary sector infrastructure bodies, what do they get now and what is missing 2. how can local groups work together to access funding such as FutureBuilders 3. as a local group what voluntary sector support in the area should be through local, county or regional bodies 4. how can the local voluntary and community sector ensure that all communities play an active role in these developments Outcomes and next steps Finish
