THE HART DISTRICT COUNCIL (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATIONS)
(LORD DERBY ROUNDABOUT - A287/B3349, NORTH WARNBOROUGH)
Notice is hereby given that Hart District Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of
the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said
County Council under Sections 14(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 3
of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992, and of all other enabling
powers, has made the following Order:
Effect of Order:
1. Temporary Speed Restriction: To impose a 30mph speed restriction on the A287
Extent of the speed restriction: From Junction 5 M3 to the Broad Oak Roundabout, Odiham, as
indicated by traffic signs.
2. Temporary No Right Turn:
All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Hook Road onto the A287, as indicated
by traffic signs. There shall be no right turn for the duration of the works only for purposes of
diversion work and safety.
3. Temporary Road Closure: B3349 Hook Road
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the entire length of B3349 Hook Road
between the Lord Derby Roundabout and the roundabout at Dunleys Hill, as indicated by traffic
From the southern point of closure head south along B3349 Dunleys Hill. At the mini
roundabout turn left onto Odiham High Street. Continue along the High Street onto Farnham
Road. At the next roundabout turn left onto the A287 and continue to the Lordy Derby
Roundabout and the northern point of closure and vice versa.
This closure and restrictions are necessary on safety grounds to allow for Hampshire County Council to
carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
This Order may be cited as “The Hart District Council (Temporary Traffic Regulations) (Lord Derby
Roundabout – A287/B3349, North Warnborough) Order 2007”.
Duration of Closure/Restrictions:
From 6th August 2007 for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the
sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2
weeks). The closure and restrictions will be continuously enforced during the period specified.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being
