Railroad Project to Cause Temporary Street Closure
El Paso, Texas – The public is advised that effective Monday, December
14, 2009, the railroad crossing at Montoya Drive near Doniphan Drive will
be temporarily closed to traffic, the City of El Paso Street Department
announced today.

The Street Department and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF)
Railway are collaborating on this seven-day street closure, which is
necessary for railroad crossing upgrades intended to enhance the ride
quality of the crossing.

Proper traffic control measures will be in place to direct the traveling public
through this area for this period. Traffic will be detoured through Montoya
Drive and Redd Road.
