Women at Risk of Offending Project
Working in partnership with The Ministry of Justice and other Women’s Centres, we have secured funding to
provide a support service for women at risk of offending. Based at our Blackburn office, the team will consist of
a Project Worker and Support Worker.

Project Worker (Scale 5 - spinal point 22-25) £19,427 to £21,306 (pro rata)
                                                26 hrs per week
                                                  Permanent

We require a dynamic individual who can take lead on developing this new service. You will develop links with
local agencies, publicise the service and work with the management team to implement processes and
procedures. Carrying a small caseload and with responsibility for the day to day supervision of a support worker
you will asses individuals, create individual tailored packages of evidence based support and be responsible for
monitoring and evaluation.

You will have experience of working with women offenders in the community, partnership working and
engaging with stakeholders. You will have assessment and case management skills.

Support Worker (Grade 4 - spinal point 18-21) £16,991 to £18,937 (pro rata)
                                                26 hrs per week
                                                  Permanent

Working with the project worker you will hold a caseload of women at risk of offending who have been
assessed and have action plans, you will work with the women to help them to achieve their goals, maintain
motivation and set new objectives. You will work with relevant stakeholders to provide support for women,
encourage referrals and feedback on progress.

If you are adaptable, professional and passionate about Supporting, Encouraging and Enabling women, then
we would like to hear from you.
