Note
For run Installer you may need to install a Java 1.1.8 (or later) virtual machine. You

FEX A pplication Products with PHP are designed in a very simplified manner which will
allow anyone to operate with it very easily without having the knowledge of programming.
The configuration is totally web-based and you absolutely do not have to edit any files in
order to install the FEX software .
It takes only fe w mi nutes to configure FEX Product with its simple and yet advanced
graphical configuration system.
This manual basically gives you the detailed information on how to install, and
configure FEX Product on your server.
To install this FEX Product you require FTP C lient software to upload files and set
permissions. You need to follow t he steps below and you will have your FEX Product online
in couple of mi nutes.
Requirements and Server Compatibility
F-Delivery is designed and developed to work with any type of server which has the
ability to run PHP programs. Even though it works for al most all the servers we have listed
some of the pre-requisites for our installation.
Operating system Web Server
- Linux or compatible. - PHP installed.
- Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP. - PHP v4.2 and above is suggested.
- Mac O S X.

Downloading
Download your FEX Product on ‘My Downloads” section at FlashEXperience web
site (C ustomer Panel, Login require d).
Note: To combat credit card fraud we manually process all orders and therefore orders can take up to 24
hours to download products and activate your license(s).
Your FEX Products setup (installer) serials are active on “My Licenses” section at
FlashEXperience web site (C ustomer Panel, Login required).

Installing
Run Setup for FEX Product and follow You may want to follow the default setup

Uploading
Now that we have the files installed lets see how to upload the FEX Product files to
the web server.
First you need to have the FTP C lient software to connect to your ftp server. For
example C uteFTP, FlashFXP, WS FTP, etc.
Using the FTP client software - logon to your server and create an empty directory for
FEX Product which is accessible through the web browser. You can have any name for your
directory.
Now upload all the files and directories inside the directory (upload) where you
installed your FEX Product.
Directory and file permissions
A fter uploading the files you will need to set the directory and file permissions. This is
required especially on Linux/Unix compatible platforms; you may require setting the write
permission for some of the FEX Product directories and files. You can do this using your FTP
client as well.
Please change the CHMO D for the FEX Product directories to 777. See more details in
the respective User Guide.
If you fail to configure write permissions for the directories listed in especyfic
product User Guide, FEX Product may not be configured properly .
