Save time by managing your Microsoft adCenter campaigns in an easy-to-use desktop application. Work faster,
edit and create campaigns with ease, get performance alerts and research new keywords—all with Microsoft
adCenter Desktop. Follow these instructions to successfully install the adCenter Desktop today. In this document
you will find the following information:

• Steps to install
• Steps to uninstall


  System Requirements

                                                   • Windows 7 – 32-bit and 64-bit
   Supported Operating
                                                   • Windows Vista SP1 – 32-bit and 64-bit
   Systems include:
                                                   • Windows XP SP2 – 32-bit and 64-bit

                                                   1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (minimum);
   Processor
                                                   2GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (Recommended)

   RAM                                             1 GB (Minimum); 4 GB (Recommended)

   Available hard-disk space                       6 GB (Minimum); 10 GB (Recommended)

   Display                                         1024 x 768 high color, 32-bit (Minimum)

                                                   DSL/Cable broadband Internet access or equivalent is required
   Internet connection                             during installation and for subsequent exchanges of data with
                                                   Microsoft adCenter online

                                                   • Windows Installer 4.5
   Software: All required software will
                                                   • Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008 SP1
   automatically be installed if not present
                                                   • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
Steps to Install
1.   If you have an older version of adCenter Desktop on your computer, we recommend that you upload your
     adCenter Desktop data to your online account before you install a new version
2.   To install the latest version of adCenter Desktop, Download it now from
     http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=164973&clcid=0x409
3.   Click the Run button on the “Do you want to run or save this file?” dialog
4.   Click the Run button on the “Do you want to run this software?” dialog
5.   Click Accept on the “Do you accept the terms of the pending License Agreement?” dialog
6.   Click the Install button on the “Do you want to install this application?” dialog
7.   A progress monitor will appear to let you know how long it will take to complete the download and install
8.   If installation is successful, the application will launch and bring up the login screen
9.   Enter your adCenter username and password
10. Click the Sign In Button
11. The Available Accounts window will contain a list of accounts associated with your username
12. Click the OK button. Click Download new accounts in the Account List dialog
13. The adCenter Desktop Application launches, syncs with adCenter, and downloads the new account
    information into your local store

14. Once the Download Summary has completed, click the OK button


Steps to Uninstall

Windows 7
1.   Open Control Panel
2.   Click Uninstall a program
3.   In the Uninstall or change a program dialog box, select Microsoft adCenter Desktop
4.   Click Uninstall
5.   Follow the uninstall instructions


Windows Vista
1.   Click on the Windows Jewel Button
2.   Click on Control Panel
3.   In the left pane, click Classic View
4.   Double-click on Programs and Features
5.   Click on Microsoft adCenter Desktop in the list
6.   Click the Uninstall/Change button
7.   In the dialog, select “Remove the application from this computer”
8.   Click the OK button
9.   Uninstall Completed
Microsoft Windows XP
1.   Click Start
2.   Click Control Panel
3.   Double-click Change or Remove Programs
4.   In the program list, click Microsoft adCenter Desktop
5.   Click the Change/Remove button
6.   Select Remove the application from this computer
7.   Click the OK button
8.   Uninstall Completed
