Preface: You cannot know the will of God for your

your life!

and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of

Therefore, knowing God’s will and doing it will have
eternal ramifications. On the other hand, being
ignorant of God’s will, or not doing the will of God will
also have eternal ramifications.

God alone knows the future!
  Isaiah 46:9-10
In light of sin’s curse, God’s providence, and God’s
omniscience, our loving and merciful God promises to
direct the paths of sincere believers.
  Proverbs 3:5-6
“…shall direct thy paths” = (lit.) - makes his paths
straight: means more than guidance; it means God
removes obstacles, making a smooth path or way of
life, & bringing one to the God-appointed goal.

which you are encouraging someone to look to the Lord for
life’s direction, or create a picture, poster, or diorama
depicting God as the director of life for all those who will trust
in Him, and who will not be confined to their own concept of
how “things” should be.

What was our worship work memory verse?
Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all
thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
We need to know the will of God for our lives because
people are incapable of properly planning their own lives,
God alone knows the future, and God promises to direct
the paths of sincere believers. 6
I. How can I get to know the will of God for my life?

                   Conclusion
Knowing the whole Bible (while important) is not
the key. The key is applying what God has revealed
in your daily life.
Knowing what you should do is not sufficient. You
have to put what you know into daily practice to
live a life worthy of God.
As we obey God’s Word and yield to His Spirit
instead of our flesh, God Himself matures His good
fruit in our lives, and reveal Himself and His WILL to
us.
