Student evaluation
Without video animations the students points that they would need more textual explanations:
I studied the software and the animations. When I encountered some problem the explanations and the animations were very helpful. [Interviewer: If you did not have the videos, would you manage to develop the fragments?]
Well, if the explanation was there in another way, we could do it.

Video animation specially helpful in the beginning of the study:
I think the video is useful in the beginning period... particularly in the beginning, before you get used to the tools. (I played it) step by step and did the work step by step.
It would have been useful now to try a bit more on our own, but in the beginning I felt [that the videos] were essential in order to get anything done.

Other students have used the video animation in most of the process:
I prefer the videos. I can work back and forth between my own solutions and the videos.
Less earlier experience seems to prefer visual learning material:
I had to do it that way… The more of an amateur you are, the more important are visual presentations.

One experiences student have thought through the mimicry aspect of using video animations:
I learn something from this mimicry, now I should do so-and-so, then this-and-that, here are the steps,. .. To use visual impression for learning is quite OK particularly early in the process.. Subsequently one must see to it that students impose their individual character and make adjustments..
