The diagram shown in fig 1. depicts the basic network connection of DLink’s Xbox complete solution.

Configuring DLink DSL-500G
Step 1) Connect network cable (UTP) to the DSL-500G unit’s Ethernet port and the other end of the cable to any PC or notebook’s Ethernet port. Please also ensure that the provided power supply is connect to the DSL-500G unit. Step 2) Initiate Internet Explorer and enter the address http://10.1.1.1/ in the address bar field. A login screen will next appear as shown in fig. 2. Please enter the following :User name : admin Password : admin Click on the OK button next.

Step 3) As shown in fig. 3, on the left menu of the display screen click on Home Quick Configuration. Also as shown below, on the main option page in the left of the screen, alter the following fields to the values as stated:1) Connection Type : 1483 Bridge IP VC-Mux 2) Bridge : Enable 3) Default route : Disabled Complete configuration by next clicking on Submit button.

Step5) Once the prompt as shown below is seen, the DSL-500G is configured successfully. You may now use your DSL-500G as a ADSL modem in bridge mode. Please continue through this guide for the configuration of the DI-624+ and the DWL-2000AP+. Changes Save Successfully...

Configuring DLink DI-624+
Step 1) Connect network cable (UTP) to the DI-624+ unit’s LAN Ethernet port and the other end of the cable to any PC or notebook’s Ethernet port. Please also ensure that the provided power supply is connect to the DI-624+ unit. Step 2) Initiate Internet Explorer and enter the address http://192.168.0.1/ in the address bar field. A login screen as shown in fig. 6 will next appear. Please enter the following :User name : admin No password is required Click on the OK button next.

Step 2) As shown in fig. 7 the diagram below, click on the Status tab the Device Info Please note down the LAN MAC ADDRESS as circled in red. This information is necessary during the configuration of the DWL-2000AP+. Write your LAN MAC ADDRESS here :- ______________________

Step 5) For StarHub Cable Maxonline Users please ignore this step. Referring to fig. 8, ADSL subscribers should click on PPPOE option and enter the correct User Name and Password allocated by the Internet Service Provided (i.e. Singnet ADSL, Pacific Internet ADSL) Click on Apply next to complete configuration of the DWL-624+. The DI-624+ is now successfully configured for PPPOE through the previously configured DSL-500G. Please continue through this guide for the configuration of the DWL-2000AP+.

Configuring DLink DWL-2000AP+
NOTE: The DWL-2000AP+ is currently certified for use only with DI-724P+ and DI-624+
Step 1) Connect the provided network cable (UTP) to any of the DWL-2000AP+ unit’s Ethernet LAN port and the other end of the cable to any PC or laptop’s Ethernet port. Please also ensure that the provided power supply is connect to the DWL2000AP+ unit.
Step 2) Configure the PC/Laptop’s connected Ethernet port with a static IP of 192.168.0.254 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 (Please refer to Appendix A for details on static IP configuration.)
Step 3)Initiate Internet Explorer and enter the address http://192.168.0.50/ in the address bar field. A login screen as shown in fig. 9 will next appear. Please enter the following :User name : admin No password is required Click on the OK button next.

Step 4) As shown in fig. 10, click on the Advanced tab the Mode. Select Wireless Client and type in the previously noted LAN MAC ADDRESS in step 2.7 in the Remote AP Mac field. (ie 000D88B0D745) Click on Apply next to complete setup on the DWL-2000AP+.

Connecting all devices together
Connecting the DLink DSL-500G unit to the DLink DI-624+ unit
Step 1) Connect the provided power supply and telephone line to the DSL-500G unit. (connect the other end of the telephone line to the wall socket). Step 2) Connect the provided power supply to the DI-624+ unit. Step 3) Using the provided UTP network cable, connect the DI-624+ WAN port to the DSL-500G Ethernet port; As shown in fig. 11.

Connecting the Xbox unit to the DLink DWL-2000AP+ unit
Step 1) Connect the power and all other relevant cables to the Xbox (please refer to the Xbox setup manual provided by Microsoft Inc.) Step 2) Connect the provided power adaptor to the DWL-2000AP+ unit. Step 3) As shown in fig 12, with the provided UTP network cable, connect to the DWL2000AP+ and with the other end of the cable to the Xbox network port.

Appendix A
Configuring Static IP on PC/Laptop
Step 1) On the PC/Laptop loaded with Windows 98/ME/XP/2000. Click on the START button as shown in fig. 13.

Step 2) Following the which , click on Control Panel Network Connections. Shown fig. 14 is an example of the network connections window. Identify and double click on the interface icon the DLink device is connected to.

Step 3) Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) field and then click on Properties as shown in fig. 15
Figure 15. Network interface options Step 4) In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties (as shown in fig. 16) select the Use the following IP address option and enter the following :Next clicking on OK.
