Santrauka The analysis of "Lithuanian Railways" haulage rolling-stock fleet according to the structural subdivisions and traction units is presented. The comparison between exploitation of thc same haulage fleet in Germany and Lithuania is given. Taking into account the State Enterprise "Lithuanian Railways" Restructural Programme the racional of using haulage rolling-stock is presented. The terms and number of new traction units for gaining are dcterminated.
