Downloading/Installing Clean Access Software
Overview: Clean Access (CCA) is a software application that monitors the status of a computer before it is permitted to connect to the Radford
University network. The checks performed are done to ensure that the system connecting has the required Microsoft Updates installed and that
Anti Virus and Anti-Spyware applications are installed and have the latest updated virus definitions. This provides security both for the individual
computer and the Radford University network.
Double‐Click the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop (or go to Start
‐> Programs, and find Internet Explorer).
When Internet Explorer is launched, you will be directed to this page.
Click the blue link that says “Click here to download Clean Access
Software to your computer.”
When the file download box appears, click “Run”
You will then see this page, click the “Download Clean Access Agent”
button to begin your download.
Downloading/Installing Clean Access Software
When the download completes, click “Run”. This will launch the Clean
Access Installer
When Clean Access is up and ready to install, click “Next”
A default Destination Folder is provided, click “Next” Click “Install” to install Clean Access Agent

Once Clean Access is finished installing, a few moments later the above
box will appear, enter your Radford University username and
password. Then click “Login”
