									TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION

Travel and per diems (for accommodation) are being arranged through the
WHO HQ in Geneva. Please follow the steps below:

      Contact Cornély Okwo Bele at the WHO (e-mail: okwobelem@who.int
       tel: +41 227912354) copying in Millicent Ayata (e-mail:
       ayatam@who.int tel: +41 22791 1616) and making it clear that you are
       attending the Health Workforce Development Consultation Meeting in
       Addis Ababa (15 th/16th November)

      Flights
       Cornély will give the details of the WHO travel agent in the country you
       are travelling from. You can then contact the travel agent directly to
       make a reservation. This will be sent through to the WHO for approval
       and payment, before the ticket is issued to you. The WHO system
       takes time, so please make a reservation by 1st Nov at the latest.

      Accommodation
       Cornély will organise a per diem for you to cover the cost of
       accommodation, you will receive this on arrival at the meeting. Rooms
       have been held at the Queen of Sheba Hotel ($89 per night -under the
       African Union/Task Force for Scaling up Education and Training
       Meeting) please contact Nigisty Atakilti on

       Alternatively rooms are also available at the Atlas International Hotel
       (Tel. +251 11 661 2118 email: harina04@yahoo.com). You will pay on
       departure with your per diem.

      When you have finalised your travel arrangements please e-mail them to Dr
       Thomas Bisika at the AU (tbisika@yahoo.com ) copying in Sarah Brick of the
       Task Force in London (sarah.brick@dh.gsi.gov.uk) so that an airport pick-up
