Your contribution is extremely valuable to the organisation as it provides a valuable source of income and is a demonstration of support that boosts staff and volunteers' morale and reminds us of the work we are doing and why we are doing it. LASC relies on very limited resources - and the energy and skills of volunteers. We simply couldn't continue our work without the ongoing support of our members and those who help out voluntarily, either in the centre or from their home or work-place. Whether you have 3 hours or 6 months of your time to give, there is almost always a choice of tasks you can get involved in. Areas of work include office administration events organisation, research, campaigning, translating & interpreting, fundraising, facilitating courses and Spanish classes, media work, hosting speakers and others. As a member you are part of and have a say in policies of an organisation that works to stimulate awareness of the causes of structural injustice and takes action accordingly. Both in Ireland and Latin America. To become a member, please fill in the attached Membership Application form and send it to LASC (members@lasc.ie) to tell us about your skills, to learn about volunteer vacancies or with any other queries.
