Four Prestigious Homes on the 18th United Women’s Club Annual Holiday Homes Tour Saturday, December 13 The GFWC United Women’s Club of Lakeland, Inc. a not-for-profit community service organization will hold their 18th Annual Holiday Homes Tour on Saturday December 13 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. Because there are four prestigious homes on the tour, the hours have been changed as well as the day. Also new this year, the receptions will be held in the homes. J. Lenora and Josh Bresler’s 23 room mansion Kingscliff, with a tree in every room and a secret passageway as well as other special features, is on Lake Hollingsworth. The home of Bob and Ginny Adams is also on Lake Hollingsworth with a totally decorated Gator room! As you approach Gina and Ken Rea’s contemporary home, on Lake Christina, it appears to have an infinity edge pool on as you approach the front glass doors. Priscilla and Jim Lee’s home in Eaglebrooke has a built-in TV in the Master Bedroom Bath viewed through a two-way mirror and has an elevator (will not be in use during the tour.) These are just a few of the many features of these homes. This is the major fund-raiser for the United Women’s Club for their charities and for the charities of the homeowners. The Adams have chosen the Watson Clinic Foundation; the Bresler’s charity is the Geneva Classical Academy; the Lee’s the Well of Central Florida (a new domestic violence shelter) and the Rea's have chosen Central Florida Speech & Hearing. Ticket outlets are: Brooke Pottery, Babe’s Shoes & Apparel, Wine & Roses Restaurant & Catering, Anna’s (both Lake Miriam and Lakeside Village), Colonial Banks (Christina, Bartow and Foxwood Branches), Center State Banks in Winter Haven and Lake Wales. For information or tickets, call Shirley Whitney at 863-644-4145.
