FREE Program & Activities for Ages 11–17
The Sierra Vista Teen & Youth Center (tyc) is the place to be! Meet and make new friends or come and hang out with the ones you already have. The tyc is located in Veterans’ Memorial Park (next to The Cove) at 3000 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. Anyone who is 11 to 17 can drop in. All activities offered at the tyc are free. For the latest information call the tyc at 417-4803 or Ken James, Recreation & Therapeutic Supervisor, at the oycc at 458-7922.

Monday–Friday .....................2:00–6:00 p.m. Saturday........... Available for Private Parties Sunday ..............................................Closed The tyc will open early on svps earlyrelease days for the Middle Schools and/ or the High School.

Sierra Vista Public Schools is providing transportation to the tyc directly after school from Joyce Clark Middle School (previously svms) on Route #25 and from Buena High School on Route #30.

Reserve your next special event at the Teen & Youth Center! Whether it is a birthday party, team party, group meeting, or just a get-together; youth oriented groups are welcomed. The facility is equipped with pool tables, air hockey, ping-pong, Nintendo®, Playstation® 2, Gamecube™, and a tv area with dvd/vcr. The tyc can also keep your food or treats chilled in our fridge/freezer. The Center is perfect for your next celebration. Reservations are needed ten (10) days in advance. The Center is available for renting during non-public hours. Cost is only $25 per hour including on-site staff. For more information call the tyc at 417-4803 or the oycc at 458-7922.

Air Hockey

Tuesday, April 14 Everyday	we	have	a	game	unit	set	 up to be played. The tyc has Nintendo®, Playstation® 2, and Gamecube™, with a variety of games to go along with each console.

Thursday, April 30 No need to worry about skating on thin ice for this hockey game. All	you	need	to	do	is	hit	the	puck	 across the table of cool air and score.

The	City	of	Sierra	Vista	has	established	a	Youth	Commission.	This	is	a	great	opportunity for any student age 13–17 who would like to become involved in the community!
