are two ways to acquire new products—R&D and licensing. This event focuses on the licensing
option, and shows how leading companies are successfully using external sources for new
products and technologies.
This Masterclass is aimed at senior managers in food and beverage companies, particularly chief

show how an Irish company recognised the potential of acquiring new products from abroad,
and through a business mission to the US met a series of companies and established
relationships, leading to the transfer of know-how and a new product line for their plant in
