Our Care packets
This year H4H has sent out over 3,000 care packages to soldiers serving in harms way. Above you can see a picture of a typical care packet that contains comics, magazines, DVD’s and books. In 2009 we will start sending out Xbox 360 games systems and games to Rest & Relaxation centers like Freedom Rest. This year we sent over six hundred pounds of comics and DVD’s to Freedom Rest along with a life sized statue of the Incredible Hulk. Please go through your old book, DVD and video collections and give anything that you can. With your help, our care packets can make time pass by faster for our troops when they’re not doing their important work. If you would like to donate please send new or lightly used comics, DVD’s, video games and books to the address below.
Live art fundraiser
This year we will be having our 3rd Annual Live Art Fundraiser. The Live Art Show is our one and only fundraising event of the year and we couldn’t do it without all the help and generosity of the artists who donate their time and talent. In 2007 we had our most successful event ever, raising over $12,000! If you have never seen a live art show with some of the most talented artists on the planet then you should make plans to be at the next H4H Live Art Fundraiser.

Operation care package
This summer we sent out a massive shipment of care packets to our soldiers in Iraq. General Petraeus received 400 of our packets and had his executive staff deliver them to Forward Operating Bases all over Iraq. Gen. Petraeus sent H4H a letter I would like to share with you.
me personally I had to cancel all my subscriptions before I was shipped out here and I never thought I’d be able to get comics in Iraq. Well on behalf of everyone I want to send my sincere thanks and I will remember this when I come back to the states. Lt. Wilkerson
Letter from the General Dear Heroes4Heroes,
Thank you so much for the numerous care packages that your organization has provided to our troops in Iraq. We appreciate all your efforts towards boosting the morale of our young men and women fighting the War on Terror. Many of your packages were delivered via “Operation Care Package” and brought many smiles to the faces of our troopers located at remote bases in Iraq.
Thank you for your support of our Armed Forces. These young men and women are truly our next greatest generation. Best wishes from Baghdad, H4H Sends Hulk to Iraq
Earlier this year Marvel donated three Incredible Hulk statues that were used to promote the Incredible Hulk movie this summer. The Hulk stands over 8’6 and is 6’6 across! The Jade Giant is making his way to Iraq and his future home at Freedom Rest R&R facility. We can’t wait to see the great pictures of smiling troops posing with Hulk.
