We raffled off the 9.9hp Mercury motor at the meeting. It had served the club for around ten years. The lucky winner was Mike Enfelt. We made $140.00 which went into the general fund. Pat Harshbarger is taking over the Pat Whealon Travelift. He is also getting a committee together who also can run the lift. Applications for winter storage are available and can be picked up at the club. Any questions, please see Pat. It does not seem like it’s time to do this again, but I am looking for a Nomination Committee. If you are interested, please let me know. John Langolf has stepped forward to take on the building for the rest of the term on the board. The board has approved. If you see some things that need to be fixed, please call John at 923-2169. The Blues Cruise is Saturday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m. Come aboard for the second annual event. Food, music, raffle tickets, pull tabs and fun for all!!! Weather permitting, it will be held outside. Music will be played on the “steel tub”. Summer Breakfast is Sunday, July 11 at 9:00. This first one was a success. Let’s make this one even better. It looks like youth sailing classes are going great!! If you have time, stop by, even if you aren’t a sailor. You can pick up their language and terms just by listening. The lease with the city for winter storage has been signed for 5 years at $5.00 per foot.

I’d like to thank everyone who went above and beyond in helping our family celebrate Pat’s life. Your generosity was shown in so many ways. Thank you for the: * Well wishes * Cards and flowers * Shared memories * Celebration food * Time you spent grilling, preparing food and bartending. * Tip money fund which bought Pat and my bar chairs. * He was pleased to see his name on the travelift. * Yacht Club for their facilities * Memorial fund contributions which were well above our expectations.
