Business Meeting Sunday, April 27
firstname.lastname@example.org Easter Sunday was a great day. The choir did a great job and we had an overflow crowd. What a blessing it is to serve the Risen Lord, amen? We have some pretty exciting things ahead of us in the coming months. Be sure to mark April 5th on your calendars. That is when we will be having our fund raising dinner for those who are going to India. Invite your friends for this. It is going to be a great barbecue dinner and we will have a silent auction that is going to be awesome. A couple of weeks ago I sent all of you a letter asking you to pray for the trip and to please consider helping us to raise the funds to go. Let me reiterate that request. All of those going are doing so at a great cost to them personally, and if there is any way you can help I know God will honor that. God doesn’t let good deeds go unrewarded. And remember our success over there will be greatly enhanced by your prayers. I hope you are already praying regularly for what God is going to do through us. As you pray be sure to pray also for our church as we attempt to impact the community in which we live. It would be a shame to go all the way to India to do evangelism and fail to reach out to our own community. I pray for us almost everyday that Faith Fellowship would be a great bastion for the cause of Christ in Denison, Texas. Thank you for your faithfulness. God bless. What is Children in Action?
Children in Action is a comprehensive missions education organization, for boys and girls in grades 16, which includes praying for missions, engaging in missions action and witness, learning about missions, developing spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, participating in the work of the church and supporting missions. Through participation in Children in Action, children grow in their knowledge, understanding and application of the Bible. They also learn from the example of missionaries, believers and hand-on mission action what it means to actively engage in ministering to others with the compassion of Christ. During the month of April we will travel to South Africa to learn more about what our missionaries are accomplishing in their far away place.

The month of April will not only be a busy month, it will be an exciting month. Not only do we have fun activities, we have activities plan to share the love of Jesus. On Friday, April, 11, I will be taking our students on a mystery trip. This trip is designed for fun, but the only one that knows where we will be going is myself. There will be more information to come for that. The next day Saturday, April 12, we will be going to the Rangers game in Arlington. Not only will be see the game, but there will also be a concert by Third Day. Sign up sheets are available upstairs. Also, time is running out for those that want to sign up for M-Fuge camp. Those dates are July 6-12. If you have any questions, contact Brandon. Our student ministry will also have the opportunity for a work day at the Knowles house on April 19. Lastly, please pray for our student Sunday School teachers as we will be offering a training day on April 26. I thank everyone for their prayers for our students.
The Sunday School Leadership met during the month of March and discussed our strengths, our concerns and our opportunities for outreach. Some of the concerns we discussed were the need to reach more children and families; improve our nursery and preschool areas; increase Sunday School attendance; improve generational understanding; promote deeper commitment of members; provide a ministry to those who are single again; and make best use of our facilities. Please be patient and prayerful that we would succeed in our effort to reorganize our Sunday School more effectively in reaching and retaining new members, as well as equipping regular members for ministry.
