General Information
State of the Art Imaging and Analysis of Cardiac Performance in Congenital Heart Disease
Hosted by The Children’s Hospital Heart Institute in Aurora, Colorado, this symposium will focus on imaging techniques and analytical methodology to quantify cardiac performance in the patient with congenital heart disease. This program is designed to bring together physicians, nurses, and health care providers involved in the evaluation and management of patients with congenital heart disease.
Registration will be available both prior to the conference and on-site. Early registration is encouraged as housing is limited due to peak travel season. Participants will be accepted in order of postmark. Written confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your registration.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to: • Discuss current practices related to echocardiographic imaging in congenital heart disease. • Discuss key components in imaging single ventricle physiology. • Differentiate the benefits of additional imaging modalities (i.e. MRI, CT) in congenital heart disease.
Continuing Education Credit
If using an agency credit card, prior authorization from the issuing bank is required as some cards have usage restrictions. There will be an additional $25 fee to reprocess any declined credit card.
The Children’s Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Children’s Hospital takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
Cancellation
Your registration will be refunded less a $75 enrollment processing fee ($25 for a single day registration) if cancellation is requested by July 15th, 2008. If your cancellation is received later than July 15th, 2008, refunds will not be granted, though you may send a substitute. The Children’s Hospital reserves the right to modify the agenda or cancel this conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance or if the minimal acceptable registration is not attained by July 15th, 2008, with a full refund to the participant.

Via Denver International Airport Located in the Central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Aspen is 220 miles west of Denver and is easily accessible by car or van shuttle service via scenic Interstate 70. Van shuttle service is available from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Aspen and may be arranged by calling Colorado Mountain Express at (800) 525-6363. Directly to Aspen/Pitkin County Airport There are direct airline services from many major metropolitan areas into Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) by three national carriers. These fares are sometimes less expensive than flying to Denver (although many route through Denver) and eliminate travel by shuttle or rental car over the Continental Divide. Ground transportation from ASE is available through hotel shuttles, village shuttles or rental cars.

Aspen offers a wide variety of lodging options; however, early booking is highly recommended.
