LARGE COAL HANDLING PROJECTS
PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Newcastle - Permanent
Our client is a well established, well respected engineering consultancy based in Newcastle.
Due to continued growth and major projects, a vacancy exists for a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer.
To be successful in this position, you will require degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, and have significant previous
experience in Instrumentation and Controls. A background in coal mining/coal handling would be highly regarded, however not
essential. You will have previous consultancy experience, and excellent communication skills.

ENGINEERING MANAGER
Newcastle - Permanent
Our client is a successful engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation, based in Newcastle.
Due to continued growth in both project delivery and engineering design, a newly created opportunity exists for an Engineering
Manager to oversee the design office.
To be successful in this position you will have an engineering degree qualification along with significant previous experience in
heavy industry, mining and materials handling. Ideally you will have previous consultancy experience and excellent communication
skills.

SITE MANAGER
Hunter - Permanent
This is a senior position working on one of the Hunter's largest Coal Handling projects.
To be successful you will require significant previous Construction Site experience within a Coal Handling or Coal Mining
Infrastructure environment - meaning you must have the appropriate experience to hit the ground running.
Broad scope of the project will include CHPP -civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control.

CIVIL ENGINEER

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineer with a solid background in practical civil construction. You will be installing
civil works and be responsible for the management of contractors.
You will also manage site safety, quality and the schedule.
This is an 'on the ground' position doing ground preparation, laying concrete and foundations etc.
This exciting position will also offer the potential to progress from this role into the structural and mechanical side of the project for
the right applicant.

SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER

This is a key position in a large coal handling construction project in the Hunter.
You will require experience in:
Contract negotiation
Procurement of major items
Management of contracts
Sourcing and pre-qualifying potential local and offshore suppliers
Estimating revised project requirements
Management reporting
To be considered for this position you will require significant previous experience in a similar role, relevant tertiary qualifications
(preferred), Experience within mining/heavy industry, and sound computer and communication skills

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Newcastle - Permanent
Our client is seeking and experienced and suitably qualified design engineer with Switch yards / Substations experience (HV).
Applicants with Powertools software experience will be highly regarded.
The role will involve a large amount of design work on projects from tender through to commissioning. The role is predominately
office based, however your support during site commissioning may be required.
