									JOB DESCRIPTION ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Overview
An Account Director within UK Client Services Team has full responsibility of a portfolio of
clients and a team of at least three people. She/he is overall in charge of growing the
client portfolio revenue and developing skills and expertise within the team.

An Account Director works with a few, large, clients, mainly with substantial media
budgets. She/he is involved in the client’s digital marketing strategies she/he has strong
relationships with Senior Managers on the client side and also often has contact with
other of the client’s external parties such as Media Agencies, Advertisement Agencies
and Interactive Agencies. The Account Director manages a team consisting of Strategic
Account Managers, Account Managers and Account Executives.

      Demonstrate profitable growth of client accounts though wide-ranging account
       management skills
      Ability to set budgets, expectations and deliver results
      Master degree within Business Administration / Marketing / Organisation or
       Finance
      Fluent in English
      Any other European languages helpful


Responsibilities
The job will require you to
    Grow the client portfolio revenues to reach GP goals
    Grow the top clients GP to exceed client growth expectations
    Coach and lead your team
    Thoroughly understand the fundamentals of the client’s business
    Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working
       relationships
    Advise on all aspects of the online marketing mix and their deployment to
       achieve a clients business objectives
    Recommend TradeDoubler products and services to your clients as appropriate
    Thoroughly understand the fundamentals of performance-based marketing
       Have a profound knowledge about on and offline marketing and branding
        theories

Specific activities include:
    Internal
           o Managing a Client team
           o Reporting to the Head of Consultancy
    Recruitment
           o Negotiating deals with top-tier publishers
    Optimisation
           o Learning the objectives of the client
           o Formulating strategies and setting targets
    Allocation of Media Budget
           o Advise the client on the optimal online media mix, often in co-operation
                 with an external party such as a media agency
    Segmentation and Categorisation
           o Negotiating commission structure with client
    Reporting
           o Reporting to the client
           o Internal reporting to the Head of Consultancy
           o Time reporting of the client team
