and associated services for a wide variety of energy sources, including hydro, nuclear, gas, coal and wind. For
the Global Financial Services organization within the Power Sector Management, our client now looking for a
Automation Systems (m/f)
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Automation activities, you will be responsible for the optimization of
the Automation related products portfolio (DCS - distributed control systems) by ensuring a strong product
development strategy and by supporting actively the sales organization so that market share, revenue and gross
margin targets are achieved. More precisely but not limited to, you will have to:
Conduct product requirement analysis through meetings with customers, market studies, conference &
seminars attendance and return on experiences in order to bring an integrated and up to date knowledge to
the R&D team that will be easily manageable.
Develop an excellent understanding of the business in order to develop, define and promote our product value
proposition internally (product road shows) and externally (fairs, conferences, etc).
Build business cases in order to support decision making processes in regards to changes to bring to the
product strategy identifying relevant KPIs, cost/benefit analysis and/or market advantages ensuring long term
profitability to the Business.
Support the sales organization by developing and maintaining up to date material such as commercial
brochures, pricing related documents and participate to the commercial events organization (exhibition, fairs,
customer presentations, etc)
Ensure a proper follow up of R&D/engineering activities making sure that industrialization plan and R&D
roadmap are aligned making sure that customers’ expectations are understood and integrated in our
For this role, we are looking for someone with at least 5 to 10 years of experience acquired in similar roles
related to Marketing in an international environment. An experience in the automation industry is a prerequisite
(energy, transport, machining, etc). The ideal candidate must hold a University Degree in Engineering or
something equivalent. A strong capability to influence with excellent communications skills is important for the
