                                                 WELCOME MADISON UNITED METHODIST MEN!
Men’s Club will meet this Sunday, February 17, at 7:00 a.m. in the CLC. We will enjoy a hearty breakfast followed by a program by guest speaker and
church member, Billy Hill, Regional Engineer of Ducks Unlimited. His topic is “Ducks Unlimited From an Engineer’s Perspective”.

Our lives have moved on, but for the people still living in FEMA trailers, or worse, their lives seem to be locked in a cycle not unlike that of Bill Murray’s
character in the movie “Groundhog Day”, same thing happening everyday and no apparent way to change the pattern. You and I as Christians must be
the active agents of change for those caught in this situation. Be a part of the effort to change the pattern of someone’s life. A strong “I will help with
that” response is needed to move forward with the opportunities on the coast and serve those in need. Everyone has some skill that is needed no
matter what their personal assessment of their abilities may be. The only thing needed is a desire to help in some way, to be of service to another
human being in need of assistance. The challenge before this congregation today is to raise that hand and say, “I will help”.
Please call Tim Ross at 601-856-7743 or Ric Stanfield at 601-856-6058.

It takes many hands working together to prepare for the monthly
luncheons. The program is planned and everything needed is provided;
tables and chairs are set up, cleaned and taken down. The meal is
prepared, dishes cleaned and put away. Tables are decorated. Thanks to
all who work together to make these luncheons happen.
