   A newly improved Taxation Information System known as Practitioners’ Toolkit will be
   available on LawNet2 from 1 June 2008.
   Gain Unlimited Access to Summaries of Taxation of Supreme Court Bills of Costs at S$50

   The Practitioners' Toolkit will make available up-to-date summaries of Supreme Court’s Bills
   of Costs from 1 June 2008 via LawNet2.

   The newly improved application will allow users to research and access up-to-date Taxation
   of Supreme Court Bills of Costs for cases from 2004 onwards.

   A significant addition to a stable of databases currently available via Due Diligence from
   the Supreme Court and Subordinate Courts, the service aims to equip lawyers with
   summaries on Bills of Costs to manage their cases better when settling party and party
   and/or solicitor and client costs.

   New functionalities have been introduced to offer lawyers a richer search experience. They

         •     An integrated search interface with easy to use search criteria
         •     Multiple search criteria which include search by bill number, amount claimed, type
               of bill, subject matter, number of trial hours/hearing and more
         •     Drill down search system which enable users to refine results
         •     Print friendly feature and format for submission of search results to Courts
         •     Latest updates when new summaries on Taxation of Bills of Costs are added to the

   LawNet2 users can try out the service immediately by simply logging onto LawNet2 with
   their existing id and password from 1 June 2008. The service will be available free for two
   weeks from 1 June until 16 June 2008.
