Year 7 Homework Timetable
Document Sample

HOMEWORK TIMETABLE 2009-2010 YEAR 7
The homework timetable shows the day when homework is set. Pupils write their homework in their Contact Book and time is made available for this. Pupils are given a date when the homework is due.
Homework will not need to be handed in the day after it is set; pupils will be able to plan their time. Work set will take a number of different forms and will not always involve written work. Some homework may
be project based which will span several weeks.
Maths, Science, French or Spanish, & DT set homework weekly. Citizenship, Geography, History, RE, & ICT set homework every two weeks. Music, Art and Drama rotate; a homework per subject is set every
3 weeks. English sets a half-termly project. Many homeworks are now accessible online via the College VLE site. http://vle.launceston-college.cornwall.sch.uk
The amount of time pupils should spend on homework is on average 20-30 minutes per subject set. If you have any concerns over subject homework please contact the Head of Faculty for that subject.
