            ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE IN
                  BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION -
                MARKETING AND RETAILING (AAS)

     Marketing and Retailing, a concentration under the curriculum title of Business
Administration, is designed to provide students with fundamental skills in marketing and
retailing.
     Course work includes: marketing, retailing, merchandising, selling, advertising, computer
technology, and management.
     Graduates should qualify for marketing positions within manufacturing, retailing, and
service organizations.

   Students seeking a degree must earn a grade of “C” or higher on any of the following
courses presented for graduation:
    ENG 111, Expository Writing; ENG 112, Argument-Based Research or ENG 113,
    Literature-Based Research or ENG 114, Professional Research & Reporting; COM 231,
    Public Speaking; CIS 110, Introduction to Computers (or another approved computer
    course); and MAT 140, Survey of Mathematics (or another approved mathematics
    course). Please see Requirements for Graduation as stated in the Academic Regulations
    section of the Academic Bulletin and Student Handbook.
