POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Project Coordinator – Systems Engineering REPORTS TO: Director of Systems Engineering Basis for this role: The Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the Systems Engineering group, coordination of projects, technical proposals during RFI/P, tender and bid processes and providing direct support to the Director of Systems Engineering. The role also includes customer interaction and the coordination of customer visits to 4RF headquarters conducted in a manner that best portrays 4RF’s wireless based products and services. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Coordinate customer orders and projects with internal departments ensuring all deliverables and timeframes are maintained Coordinate the Systems Engineering job requests on a daily basis ensuring all incoming jobs are qualified and actioned appropriately and in a timely manner Scheduling of service activities in consultation with Director of Systems Engineering Act as liaison with customers for service related activities, specifically training courses and customer visits to 4RF headquarters, providing assistance with arrangements and entry documentation Assist repair technician in maintaining RMA database and customer support enquiries Assist with preparation and review of RFQ, RFI, RFP and tender / bid responses Assist the Director of Systems Engineering, in the day to day duties of the Systems Engineering group’s administration as required Assist in the development of systems & procedures within organizational policies and practices Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervisor Key requirements: Experienced in the coordination of bids and tender responses with a good understanding of commercial aspects and content Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and in writing, recognising the potential internal/external and multi lingual customer mix Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise, consistent with a project management approach Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative Supportive team member Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on occasion and represent 4RF professionally Experienced in use of Microsoft Office 2007 Suite, including Word, Excel and Project Language skills other than English would be an added advantage Personal attributes: Customer-focused, but sufficiently assertive to achieve the support and cooperation of internal and external customers Adaptable and receptive to changing situations and new ideas and adjust to changing needs Team player but equally comfortable working independently when required Hard working, highly organised with good attention to detail
