What is Fast Track? Fast Track is the enrollment program for students who want to attend EMU this fall. At Fast Track, you’ll take care of all your “business” needs in one trip to campus. From registering for classes to getting your photo taken for your EMU ID, you’ll get it all done in one session. Fast Track and Orientation Fast Track and Orientation are two different programs. Each has a specific focus, and students are encouraged to attend both. Fast Track is EMU’s enrollment program. New student orientation, known as Fusion, (Aug 30Sept 2) is a great chance to meet friends, and learn about social and academic opportunities at Eastern Michigan University. You’ll learn more about Fusion at Fast Track. Select a date that best fits your schedule, and call 734-487-3060 or 800-GO-TO-EMU to make your reservation. Are parents/family welcome to attend? Yes! A special program for parents and family will provide information about helping students succeed at EMU. What is the cost? The cost is $27 per student. The Fast Track fee is not affected by financial aid and must be paid by every participant. The fee will automatically be billed to your student account. A campus map and directions will be sent to you once you register for Fast Track. If you need them sooner, go to emich.edu/admissions/ tour/index.html How do I sign up for Housing? Visit the Housing website at emich.edu/housing to review your residence hall options. Follow the directions to complete and submit the contract materials online. Pay the $200 pre-payment to reserve your space in the residence halls. We recommend completing your housing contract prior to May 1, 2008.
