Quick Overview

With the prevalent of the digital electronics in every aspect of our life, it is easy to overlook the importance of analog circuits design
techniques that is increasingly become a forgotten art for practicing design engineers. However, as real world signals are
predominantly analog, there will always be a need for engineers to understand analog electronics in area of e.g. signal conditioning
before converting it to the digital domain. Further more, the trend of pushing digital signals to operate at increasingly higher frequency
but towards lower voltage levels also blur the distinction between digital and analog signal domains.

Course Highlight

This course starts with some of the commonly-used circuit analysis techniques. Simple linear and non-linear electronic circuits are
then introduced. Once equipped with the basics and knowledge of analog electronics, the participants are then taught the more
commonly-used analog electronic circuits based on discrete BJTs and op-amps, with hands-on practical experiments in the laboratory.

 Synopsis
