We now know that there are subdivided populations. There are four or five regional subpopulations and we only have vital rates data from one and, you know, I guess I never imagined that when we did this model back in the 1980s that it would still be the one that’s used for management, that it would have been updated and improved and made more elaborate and so on so. Basically there is a need for updating the data.”
