Example of 2006 Water Cost for Residential and Industrial
Consumers in Guelph, Oakville, and Mississauga

Issue/Background:

•    At its meeting of January 10, 2007, Budget Committee requested, amongst other things, the
     2006 water costs for residential and large industrial facilities (service charge and
     consumption charge combined) for the following cities: Guelph, Oakville, and Mississauga.


Key Points:

•    The 2006 water charges for typical residential (300 cubic metres per year) and large
     industrial (1,000,000 cubic metres per year) customers are as follows:
