3 Weeks before Campaign
  •   Request brochures, posters, and pledge forms from your United Way Campaign Associate
  •   Consider going “green” – use Truist, United Way’s online campaign pledge collection tool

1 Week before Campaign
  •   Educate employees about United Way of Morris County
         o Include United Way of Morris County’s LIVE UNITED messaging on company intranet and
             newsletters
         o Provide link on your home page to www.LiveUnitedMorris.org
         o Post United Way LIVE UNITED posters
         o Email daily success story with photo to highlight impact of GIVE, ADVOCATE, VOLUNTEER
  •   Promote upcoming campaign
         o Send CEO letter, email, or voice mail to all employees
         o Promote campaign incentives via internal communications, like email or posters
  •   Conduct agency tours or Day of Caring for colleagues
  •   Continue preparing for Kick Off event

Week of Campaign
  •   Hold Kick Off event!
          o Distribute LIVE UNITED brochures to all employees
          o Loop United Way LIVE UNITED video clips in cafeteria or lobby
  •   Immediately after event email instructions/link on Truist pledging, if appropriate
  •   Email new success story with photo each morning, or an interesting “fast fact.” Consider a contest on
      last day around these facts
  •   Email photos of employees from Day of Caring, applauding volunteers who LIVE UNITED!
  •   Report progress to all employees regularly during campaign

                                    Campaign Close
                                       •   Announce total company amount raised to employees
                                       •   Share facts about lives changed with this investment
                                       •   Send Thank You Letter from senior management to recognize
                                           contributors
                                       •   Send Thank You Letters from appropriate management to those
                                           who served on Committee or conducted solicitations
                                       •   Send Thank You Email from United Way of Morris County CEO

                                    Post Campaign
                                       •   Hold “Thank You” events
                                       •   Work with your United Way Campaign Associate to develop a year-
                                           round communications plan to thank donors and inform them of
                                           how their investment continues to improve lives
