The Fine Arts Booster Club is a nonprofit tax exempt organization. All FAB contributions are

Why do the arts programs at Brockman need FAB?
• For continued grant funding from both the State Department of Education as a
Distinguished Arts Program (DAP) and the S.C. Arts Commission as an Arts in Basic
Curriculum (ABC) model site, we must show parent support in both time and resources
needed to institutionalize our programs.
• To provide the matching funds required by these grants.
How does FAB raise funds?
• Silent Auction (April 18, 2008).
• We raised over $7000 at our first Silent Auction, $13,500 the second year, $19,000 in our
third year and over $25,000 in our Silent Auction last school year.
• Donations.
How have funds been spent?
• Buying West African Drums, string instruments and theatre supplies.
• Hiring certified performing arts specialists to enrich the arts program.
