Tournaments The heart of a UDL is its tournament schedule, which drives other activities on the yearly UDL calendar. Professional Community of Coaches UDLs have developed a norm that gives coaches ownership of the League. College Access Connection Universities provide technical assistance, mentoring, and event fa- cilities. UDL's help transition students into college. Curricular Debate UDLs offer a course in the regular curriculum in Argumentation and Debate. Some UDLs have introduced debate to other courses, a concept know as “curricular debate.” Public Debate and Youth Voice Many UDLs conduct debates to affect public conversations on community concerns.
