guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning,
packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to all the markets where Google does business.
The role: Product Marketing Manager - Monetization, YouTube
As a YouTube Product Marketing Manager, you will lead YouTube's marketing efforts. In this
role, you will be leading the product marketing efforts in support of the YouTube Monetization
Product Team. You'll develop and execute thoughtful go-to-market strategies for the growing
number of innovative advertising products on YouTube. You will be responsible for developing
the positioning and communication plans leading to successful commercial advertising product
adoption by large and small advertisers. While you will be most directly supporting the Product
team, you will be aligned closely with the global advertising sales organizations and ensure that
advertiser communications are consistent with YouTube's product strategy.
In addition, you will drive our field and channel readiness including pitch decks, product
collateral, market research, and competitive insights. You will be an ambassador of YouTube's
technologies and innovations in online advertising. Finally, you thrive in a start-up like
environment and relish the opportunity to make YouTube a wildly successful advertising
platform for advertisers of all sizes.
Develop marketing plan and broader go-to-market strategy with product management,
growing awareness and adoption of YouTube advertising products across target
segments. Be accountable for driving plans through to implementation.
Own product positioning and core pitch for new advertising products.
Work with sales marketing to manage and evolve the suite of advertising solutions on a
segment by segment basis.
Contribute to development of our web presence, key collateral and presentation decks to
enable our Sales Development and Monetization Product teams.
Team cross-functionally with Advertising Sales and Product Management to drive
BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record. MBA preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in consulting at a top-tier firm, or marketing or business
development at a leading software company.
Strong bias for action and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and execute
quickly as demonstrated by strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of
responsibility and independence; demonstrated ability to lead early stage strategic
Demonstrated success partnering with Product, Business Development and leading cross-
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as distinctive problem solving
and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to
communicate with highly technical management team.
