360 Sports Management 2010 All-American Bowl

The All-American Bowl is an annual event that takes place in December. The event was founded in 1996 to allow football players to show their skills and provide professional, minor league and college scouts more access to top players. The event requires a football stadium that seats at least 5,000 spectators. It generates 200 to 300 room nights and attracts between 500 and 1,500 players and fans. More information is available at or by contacting Terry Sullivan at (952) 451-2104 or Pop Warner is seeking bids for its week-long youth football and cheer and dance championships for athletes ages 8–15. Events typically take place in early December and draw thousands of participants and spectators. Contact for more information. The State Games of America is a multi-sport event held biannually. Medal winners from 31 State Games programs across the country are eligible to compete. The event is usually held the last weekend in July or first weekend in August with an influx of more than 25,000 (combined event) athletes, family members, and friends. The event must include the following sports: basketball, bowling, figure skating, gymnastics, martial arts, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, and wrestling. Additional sports may be added dependent on the format of the event. Full details will be provided in the RFP at Contact Pete Lampman at (540) 343-0987 or The Tournament of Roller Hockey Series begins its season with two Winter Cup tournaments held in January, with the possibility of one being held in February. The Winter Cup events require a two-rink roller hockey facility. Each event will host between 50 and 80 teams, with 10 players per team. Families are also expected to travel. TORHS is looking for the Winter Cup to be a three- or four-day event held over a weekend. In 2008, the trials also included a fan experience zone that attracted 20,000 fans. Up to 125 of America’s best divers will compete at the event. NBC is expected to broadcast at least four hours of live event coverage. The event requires a minimum of two 1-meter springboards, two side-by-side 3-meter springboards and a set of platforms being a minimum of 8 feet wide with a preference to 10 feet wide or greater.
