General Information about Mr. Fe Smith’s Physics Classes The three general rules to pass: 1. Do what you are asked to do. 2. Turn it in on time. 3. Give me your best effort. The grade will be calculated on what you do. 1. Four two week tests. (The lowest of these will be dropped each nine weeks.) (100 pts each) 2. Four labs each nine weeks. (20 pts each) 3. UT home work (pts very) 4. Assigned extra credit. (100 pts each nine weeks.) 5. Notes (20 pts each nine weeks.) 6. Turning in the four old tests. (20 Pts) 7. Quiz when necessary. (Pts very) 8. Semester Tests. (20% of your grade) Physics is not an easy course but it can be learned and passed with work on your part. You need to study a little each night and not wait tell the night before the test or when something is due. I can only help those who help themselves. Edward M.
