What is a serial macro tool and how do I use it.

A serial macro is a computer command. In the Liberator 14 all the common computer commands have been added
making it easier to program. When you are inserting a tool (see section 4) you can insert a serial macro and this
will give you the option to add a computer control commands.

Go to the page you to add your computer command to
Press setup key/modify button      (button No2)
Select the square you wish to add your computer command to
**Press spell text for message
Press insert tool
Press serial macro (now you will need to select the command you want to use)
     1.    CTRL – this is the control command often CTRL on the       20.   Page down – This is the page down commands to

     11.   Arrow down – This is the down arrow command                31.   F7 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     12.   Arrow up – This is the up arrow command                    32.   F8 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     13.   Caps Lock – This is the caps lock command                  33.   F9 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     14.   Shift – This is the shift command                          34.   F10 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     15.   Number lock – This is the number lock command              35.   F11 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     16.   Print screen – This is the print screen command            36.   F12 – emulates the relevant F keys command
     17.   Enter – This is the enter key                              37.   Windows key – This will show the windows start
     18.   Delete character – This is the delete key to delete              menu
           letter by letter                                           38.   Start menu – This will show the windows start menu
     19.   End – This is the end key to scroll to the end of a        39.   Mac apps – This will show Mac applications
           document


Press OK

If you wish to add a picture
Press change icon                                                 Press change icon
Press spell icon to find                   OR                     Choose Alphabet Sort, PCS or a Category
Type the name of the picture you’re searching for                 Choose a picture
Press OK
Choose a picture

If the label needs to be changed
Press change label
Type in a label
Press OK

If you wish to change the key colour
Press change key colour
Choose a colour by pressing the desired one

If you wish add the command to other keys
Press copy this assignment to...
Select each key to copy the command to (take your time doing this)
When you have selected all the keys press the text bar at the top of the page

If you wish to add another computer command
Press choose next key to define and repeat from**

Press OK
