Copy and Paste Images Copy and Paste Quick Guide 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Find the picture that you want to use. Right click on the picture once. A menu appears. Select Copy with the left mouse button. Choose where you would like the picture to appear. Drag the curser to the position where you would like the picture to appear. Left click once to select this position. Right click once. Select Paste with the left mouse button. The image appears on the page. Note: Follow the same process to Cut a picture. Cutting removes a picture that can then be pasted. Copying leaves the original behind while extracting an exact copy. Step 1 Finding an Image Within the website, CD ROM or other media you are using find the picture you wish to copy. Step 2 Copy an Image 1. Right click on the image once. 2. A menu appears. Select Copy with the left mouse button. Note: If a menu does not appear the image is protected and you may not be able or allowed to copy it. When using some CD ROMs there is a separate menu when you wish to copy an image. The image is now copied onto your clipboard Step 3 Paste an Image 1. 2. Make sure your document or presentation page is open. Choose where you would like the picture to appear. 3. Drag the curser to the position where you would like the picture to appear. Left click once to select this position. 4. Right click once 5. Select Paste The picture should now appear in your document.
