What events do you guys host/have hosted here on campus?
= YBE is best known for the annual Hip Hop and R&B events we host every spring during PanAfrikan week. In 2003 and 2004, we hosted HipHop Fanatics, a freestyle battle event. = This year we hosted ‘Rhythm & Rhyme’ where we showcased talents in R&B, poetry, and instrumental. = We also host Business Competitions where participants form a mock business (or it could be a real business) and present it to all YBE Shareholders.

What will I gain from joining YBE?
= Leadership experience and involvement in student organizations. = Anyone who joins will gain a great deal of knowledge dealing financial management and hopefully develop an entrepreneurial mentality. = Take part in some community service activities that are very fun and rewarding. = This is a completely student-run organization, so although we are serious about living up to our purpose, we definitely make sure all our members have fun in the process.
How do I join YBE?
= During the school year, we will be posting up flyers and passing out handbills about our general body meetings. = Just attend one of our meetings and bring $15 for membership that includes a YBE T-shirt and dog tag.
