Here is what a good website promotion campaign should include: * Email marketing – good website promotion always includes email marketing in the form of email advertising, auto responders, a newsletter or e-zine and sometimes e-courses. * Web articles – if you don’t have any web articles out, make a point to write some as part of your web marketing efforts. * META tags – if you don’t have META tags on your pages, all of the pages on your website, then go back and put them on. Many of them are free site trackers or commercial trackers that also provide a free service. I personally use StatCounter code in all of my pages. Using StatCounter website visitor tracking service you get lifetime summary on all your site visitors for free. Besides that you can use StatCounter's free service to get detailed information from last 500 visitors at your site. Upgrading the account you can increase that number up to 100 000. You can set the code up to market your website, inner pages, sub domains, and blog posts. You can create individual landing pages and put the code on it and so on. The great thing about using StatCounter as an ad tracking mechanism is that you do not have to put StatCounter link to your website, even if you use the free service. Just put the code to the pages which visitors you want to track and you can learn everything about the visitors coming to your Internet business site. You know where they came from, what pages they visited, what keywords they found you with, how long they stayed on your site, and much more. A website visitor tracking is important because today there are multiple ways to promote an Internet business. You can use StatCounter or some other website tracking system. Just track your visitors. How will you know what is working and what is not if you are not using visitor tracking to improve your Internet home business and move it forward.
