You must have passed or be registered for Gen. Chem 1 (CHM 2045)
REQUIREMENTS

bers before you click on “Submit”. If you do not follow these steps, you
will receive a “Pre-req and test score error” message.

1. Register for your Gen Chem 1 first (if needed)—then register for Bio
1. Otherwise you will receive the “Pre-req and test score error” mes-
sage. If you have transferred your Gen Chem 1 from an out-of-state
or private school, you will need a permit because the system does-
n’t recognize your course code.
2. The Bio 1 lecture and lab must be open in order to register for them.
3. If you need to retake just one part, get your permit in advance. We
cannot help you if you register for both lecture and lab and then
want to drop one of them. There isn’t any kind of permit we can give
you to let you drop just one part.

day Chemistry lecture, you will be dropped from your Biology lecture
and lab by the Registrar.
