Is there “inactive” status? NO, all licenses are considered “active” even if you have a not practicing waiver.

Is there a discount for those not practicing? NO.

I haven’t made any changes to my professional disclosure statement, do I still need to send one in? NO, you only need to submit a professional disclosure statement if you have made changes to your name, business name and address, or telephone number.

Do I need to send in a PDS if my practice is out of state? NO, all licensees practicing out of state do not need to submit a PDS to the Board. However, you do need to keep the Board updated on any address or telephone number changes.

Do I need to renew my license if I have a not practicing or medical waiver? YES, you must still renew your license to keep your license ‘active’.

I filled out a continuing education waiver last year because I’m not practicing. Do I need to fill out another one? NO, you will stay on the waiver until you let us know that you wish to return to practice.
