       ( For printing of Coffee Table Book on Monuments of Bihar)
                 The Deptt. of Art, Culture & Youth, Bihar invites tender/proposal for
development and preparation of text, editing, arranging photographs, drawings and
illustrations, pre-press work including composing, proof reading, printing, binding and
supply of Coffee Table Book on “Monuments of Bihar” from reputed printing firms those
have printed at least 3 coffee Table Books of high standard. The firms will have to attach
such proof of works as part of the technical bid.
                 Tender should be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes. First will
contain technical bid, whereas the second envelope will have financial bid.
                 Tender will be received till 3.00 p.m. on 19.01.2010 in the office of Deputy
Secretary, Deptt. of Art, Culture & Youth, Govt. of Bihar, Vikas Bhawan (New
Secretariat), IIIrd Floor, Patna- 800 015. The technical bid will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on
the same day in presence of the bidders on their authorized representative.
                 The technical bid should contain the following :
       Document or sample to prove that the firm has already been printed three such works
       of high quality.
       Document to prove that the firm has VAT registration.
       Documents to prove that firm’s annual turnover was not less than Rs.50.00 lakhs
       during
       2008-09
       Documents to prove that the firm possess the Income Tax PAN Card and submits
       annual IT return regularly for last three years.
                 The Department has right to reject or accept any tender. Department is not
bound to accept the lowest quotation without assigning the reason.
                 The order would be granted to the most suitable printing firm after
considering quality and technical specifications quoted in the offer document.
