					Using ClubPBX with your IP Phones
This chapter offers an overview of the various operations possible using ClubPBX, and offers
step-by-step information on how to perform these operations.
1. Placing a Call
Using the Handset
a. Pick up the handset. The dial tone can be heard in your earphone.
b. Dial the required number.

Using the IP Phone's Speaker
a. Press any line key. The dial tone associated with the concerned line can be heard. OR Press the          button.
The dial tone associated with your default line out can be heard.
b. Dial the required number.

Using the Headset
a. Press the required line key, or press   . The dial tone can be heard.
b. Dial the required number.

2. Answering a Call: To answer a call, simply press the button.
Using the Handset
Pick up the handset, and the voice of the caller can be heard through the ear piece. Press      . The voice of the
caller is routed through your headset.

3. Activating Call Waiting
This keeps all the incoming calls on hold while you are attending to another. To activate call waiting, dial *70.

4. Deactivating Call Waiting: To deactivate dial *71.

5. Activating Call Forwarding
a. Dial *72 and enter your extension followed by pound Ex: 604#. Calls of 604 will be forwarded.
b. Enter the target extension number followed by pound Ex: 605#. Calls will be forwarded To 605
c. Phone gives a prompt "Call forward unconditional for extension 604 is set to 605".

6. Activating Call Forwarding on Busy
You can forward incoming calls when your phone is busy.
a. Dial *90 and enter your extension followed by pound. Ex:604#.
b. Enter the target extension number followed by pound. Ex:606#.
c. Phone gives a prompt "Call forward on busy in unconditional for extension 604 is set to 605."

7. Deactivating Call Forwarding on Busy: To deactivate dial *91.

8. Activating Call Forwarding on No Answer :
a. Dial *52 and enter your extension followed by pound Ex:604#.
b. Enter the target extension number followed by pound. Ex:608#.
c. Phone gives a prompt "Call forward on busy in unconditional for extension 604 is set to 608".

9. Deactivating Call Forwarding on No Answer: To deactivate dial *53.

10. Accessing Voice Mail
Accessing voice mail from same extension
a. Dial *97and enter the password followed by the pound key. Ex: 369#.
b. Once your password is confirmed, a voice informs you of the number of heard and unheard messages in your
   voice mail.
         I. Press 1 for new messages.
         II. Press 2 to change folders.
         III. Press 0 for mailbox options.
         IV. Press* for help.
         V. Press the pound key to exit.

Depending upon the option you choose, the system prompts you for shortcuts to the various functionalities
associated with each of your choices.

Accessing voice mail from a different extension
a. Dial 862 and enter your extension number.
b. Enterthe password followed by the pound key. Ex: 369#.
c. Once your password is confirmed, a voice informs you of the number of heard and unheard
   messages in your voice mail.

Accessing Voice mail by email
a. All voice mails to your extension are mailed to your inbox, and can listen to them whenever you check your
    mail next. The actual voice mail is attached to the message, and you can either listen to it online, or save it
    to your hard disk

Accessing voice mail by logging into ClubPBX account
a. Once you log into your ClubPBX user account, you can check your voice mail by clicking the Voice mail
   button at the top of your web Control panel.

Accessing voice mail directly from outside
a. You can retrieve your voice mails by dialing your main phone number then dial 864
b. It will prompt you to enter your extension number ( ex #201)
c. It will prompt you to enter your voice password you need enter your voice mail password (ex 201)
d. Then you can listen to your voice mail.

11. Call pickup (with in the same server)
When a call landed on any extension if you know that extension number you can dial 8 followed by extension
number.

12. Call parking (with in same server)
When you answer a call and want to transfer that call, do the following:
a. Dial #700 the call will be transferred to park extension and the number will be announced to you.
   In this case it will be 701. after the announcement, you may hang up and dial the extension of the person
   you wish to transfer the call to and inform him to dial 701 to accept the call.
b. While all this is happening, the caller will be listening to the music on hold. ( The hold time will be for 20
   seconds)
c. If for any reason the happening refused to taken the call, you then hang up and dial 701 to pick up the call
   back to you and speak to caller.

13 Checking your Extension Number
To check your extension number, dial *65. The phone prompts “ your extension number is XXX,”

14. Checking current time
To check current time, dial *60. The phone prompts “At the sound of the tone the time is XXX.”

15. Paging through all Extensions
Dial *967, an automated IVR informs “ leave your paging message” Announce paging message and press
the # key.
